Wishlist Wednesday: Drugstore Makeup Products

Hey guys! So I'm back for another Wishlist Wednesday Post, the High End Version of this was posted last week here. Unlike last week however, this is a list of products that I will probably get within the next year or so due to how nice it is on my budget. That is also providing that I get rid of products I don't particularly like out of my collection somehow... >.> These are the products that have been in my head to try for awhile, so these are the wants I'm coveting the most! That isn't to say however that I will go out and grab them tomorrow all at once :B Hope you guys enjoy!

Almay Get Up & Grow Waterproof Mascara
Will I Get It: Probably
Why: I'm searching for my favorite drugstore mascaras, which means I have to search through a lot of cult favorites before I find it!
CoverGirl & Olay Concealer Balm
Will I Get It: Yes
Why: I don't have a concealer that I am completely satisfied to use on my acne scars, so this is the next concealer I will try (once I get rid of a good bunch of mine I have already of course!)
Covergirl Cheekers Blush
Will I Get It: Probably
Why: I love blush, and I want to try more from other drugstore brands!

Elf Studio HD Blush
Will I Get It: Probably...especially if it goes to Target!
Why: Cause I want to try more elf product! I also adore blushes, and I would love to see how the formula for this product worked out!

L'Oreal Infallible The Super Slim Eyeliner in Black
Will I Buy: Yes
Why: I'm still searching for a holy grail liquid eyeliner. While I do like the Maybelline Masterprecise Liquid Eyeliner, I want to try a couple more before I stick to one eyeliner...permanently!

L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara
Will I Buy: Yes Purchased
Why: I'm always looking for the next best mascara that will help out my lashes. I've heard amazing things about this mascara and would love to try it out! This will probably be bought as soon as I've used up a couple of my mascaras.
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush
Will I Get It: Yes
Why: This is a very unique formula for a cream blush, I'm kinda wondering how it really feels and if it really bounces! And of course, I love blushes, which augments the need for this one more.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer
Will I Get It: Probably
Why: Concealing Dark Circles is a top priority for me, and my addiction to concealers is a testament to that fact. I own 5 under eye concealers currently, so I don't anticipate picking this up until I finish with at least 2 of them though.

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation for Combo/Oily Skin
Will I Get It: Yes  Purchased!
Why: I have been dying to try what many people consider as the holy grail for people with combo/oily skin. This will be my next drugstore purchase, hands down. Major downside of it is that there is no pump :(
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation
Will I Buy: Probably
Why: This foundation gets amazing reviews and I have nothing like this. The only downsize really is the bulky packaging, which pretty much means I can't travel with it once I get it as well as that there is no pump :( !

Wet n Wild Coloricon Bronzer SPF 15 in Reserve Your Cabana
Will I Buy: Probably Not Purchased!
Why: This product may be labeled as a bronzer, but it is most certainly a highlighter! While this is a very cheap product, I have't gotten to the phase of always highlighting when I wear makeup. But, if I ever decide to pick up another highlighter, this is probably one I will pick out.

Are there any products you recommend me to try from the drugstore? How do these items fit in on your wishlist? Let me know in the comment section below!

  2. Run, don't walk, to grab the Almay mascara and Olay x Covergirl concealer ʘ‿ʘ

Those two items are personal favourites of mine.

I've heard a lot of negative things about the Maybelline Dream Bouncy blush, mostly complaints about pigmentation. But I too, personally want to try it because uhm, squishy.

    1. Will definitely keep those two products at the top of my list! Thanks for letting me know about the Almay mascara and the Covergirl & Olay Concealer! Yea, I have heard about how some of the pigmentation of these Dream Bouncy blushes aren't the best...so I'll probably try the ones that are flaming in crazy bright colors lol!

    2. That's actually a pretty great idea! (Also, I realise you sub to Beauty Broadcast, so yeah, Hot Tamale is probably a good choice of colour :>)

  5. So many goodies to lust over! Ok I will say, I have the Instant Age Rewind concealer and love it, I'm on my second tube. I also have used the Revlon color stay foundation and the whipped. I'd say I like the whipped for the fall/winter more because it's really dewey, but I'm obsessed with both.

Hope you go out and treat yourself so some of these goodies!

  6. I really like the Maybelline Bouncy Blushes! I have been wearing the shade plum wine a lot this summer. I think they are very nice as long as you go for the darker colors like plum wine and hot tamale!

  8. If you love blushes, you should try the Milani Baked Blushes. They are quite pigmented and beautiful to look at. :) I've also had luck with NYX's blushes.
I love my Bouncy blush...but I have Combination skin, and so it makes me break out sometimes. :(
