The Makeup Swap feat. Vanessa from Citron and Guavaberry

Hello everyone! Long time no post, I know. I've honestly been taking a break from makeup, haven't been wearing much lately so as such, I haven't had much inspiration to post. Today, however, I am excited to share with you a makeup swap I did with Vanessa over at Citron and Guavaberry. Vanessa and I started blogging about the same time and we connected rather quickly over our blogging, so it was only a matter of time where we decide to send each other makeup. Initially, the price limit was set to be $20...but then I decided since Vanessa was having Daphne over at Subgenre of a Dream send over some make up products... I couldn't resist and snagged a couple of Sleek products I have been eyeing. So the price tag went up...by a LOT. Check out what fabulous products I got Vanessa here!

Let's first start off with the food goodies! I got some awesome limited edition Gingerbread Oreos. Boy, were these delicious--especially with a glass of milk! I'm now hoping that US Supermarkets will have these back in stock for the next holiday season! Next, she also gave me some delicious Celestial Sugar Plum tea bags (not pictured). Now, to be honest, normally I do not dig flavored tea at all, but I was excited to try these out. And boy, did Vanessa not disappoint one bit. Combined, both the cookies and tea reminded me of the holidays, which I now want to go back too! I'm so going to be missing this tea once I run out!

Now, lets dig into the products that you were probably the most excited for... makeup! Vanessa sent me The Balm "Hot Mama Blush", Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara, two Sleek Blush by Three (one in Pumpkin and Pink Spirit), and Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light. I am dying over these products (and was dying when I found out what I received!) These are my first makeup products from all of these brands! I have been dying to try out products from The Balm, Essence, and Sleek for a long time. I've only gotten a chance to try out Hot Mama, Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara, and the Sleek Face Contour Kit. So far, I have very good first impressions of these products, so much so that I'm having a difficult time switching up my makeup!

I am so excited to dive into these products and play with them even more! Since getting these products, my inspiration for makeup as increased and I have felt the urge to play with my makeup more (and making it a heck more dramatic than normal!). Again, do go check out Vanessa's blog if you get a chance, you'll enjoy her witty sense of humor I promise!

Have you guys tried any of these products before? Let me know in the comment section below!
