Hello friends! Today I will be sharing with you a review of the OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil. I have been trialing this over a month now and I think I have developed a solid opinion on how this products works. I am a big fan of argan oil, ever since I initially tried the Arganics by NuMe Argan Oil (Review) I've been addicted to how smooth, silky, and moisturized my hair feels after using it for a prolonged period of time. As a result, today I am sharing with you my review on this affordable drugstore alternative.
It's summer time in Florida, which means that I'm hitting up the beach and pool at least once a week. As a result, my hair is undergoing a significant amount of damage between the chlorine and the salt water. Because of that, I have been using this to moisturize my hair. As soon as I am done towel drying my hair after my shower, I applying about a teaspoon of the argan oil into the palm of my of my hands and disperse it throughout my hair. Afterwards, I dry my hair the with a hair dryer. The end result? My hair is smooth and silky for at least four days after I initially applied (and I have not gone longer than four days without showering...so there is a good chance it will keep my hair moisturized longer). Another plus? My hair isn't oily or greasy after using this!
Overall, this is what I am looking for in a hair oil. It gives my hair an extra boost in moisture and makes it significantly softer than before. I don't notice a difference between this and the Arganics by NuMe Argan Oil, so I won't be repurchasing that as a result and save my money (plus, this is so much more accessible since it's available a good amount of places). I am a also big fan of the packaging of this product, its plastic so it won't break (like the Arganics one did). If you are looking for a hair oil to moisturize your hair, definitely check this one out.

I love using oils in my hair before styling or air drying. Currently I'm using the oil by Dessange which is a new line launched by Loreal Paris and I saw many of the salons in the South of France recently. I will def keep an eye out for this one.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely keep an eye out for this one! I believe it is more affordable then the one by L'Oreal Paris. I don't style my hair much but I imagine this is fantastic for it!
ReplyDeleteThoughts on the product name: "still not a good enough reason to use the word penetrate" LOLLLLL
ReplyDeleteAh hair oils. I love them so much because my hair is generally in dry shape, but at the same time I'm too lazy to actually put them in because I like putting it into damp hair and blowdrying, but I'M OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO BE BLOWDRYING MY HAIR IN 30 DEGREE WEATHER. Anyways--I like the sound of this product. Might give it a try after I finish my Marc Anthony oil!
