December 2014 Favorites

Hey guys! I hope you guys had a Merry Christmas and for those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, I hope are enjoying the holidays! So today I wanted to share with you my December Favorites. I initially wasn't planning on doing a December Favorites, but I've been really enjoying these two products that I wanted to share with you (and yes, even if it is only two products!) I also am not planning on mentioning it in my 2014 Favorites (which will up be within the next week or so) mainly because... I've only had them for the last couple of weeks in December! As such, I decided on doing a December Favorites!

For years I have heard many beauty gurus rave about Nars Sheer Glow Foundation (Tanya Burr being the main person who got me intrigued). However, it wasn't until recently when I discovered Michelle Nwin on Youtube that I thought this foundation could work on my oily skin. She lives in Texas (similar hot and humid climates) and we also have the same skintypes, so I figured I should give this a try since I did have a Sephora Giftcard. I am in the shade Punjab (and yes, I did fork over the extra money for the Nars pump...even though it hurt me to do so ;_;). Let me just tell you that the name of this foundation is quite deceiving, I don't find it to be Sheer or Glowy. It does give a nice natural finish on my skin and gives it a very nice healthy appearance. This foundation isn't as luminous as the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation and it holds up a lot better then that foundation. Stay tuned for a review of both of these foundations soonish!

And lastly, I have another product from Nars that have been my favorites for the past month. It is the Nars Audacious Lipsticks in Audrey. This lipstick shade is absolutely stunning! It is a perfect Fall and Winter lipstick shade! While I'm not completely 100% sold on the formula (mainly because it can be a tad bit drying after a couple of hours and doesn't apply as smooth as Bite Beauty lipsticks when my lips are dry), I have been rocking this shade almost every day since I purchased this lipstick! To combat the dryness of this lipstick, I just apply a rose gold lipgloss on top!
