Hello my loves! So today I am doing a review of the Too Faced Everything Nice Set. This review marks the first time where I have reviewed Too Faced products! I've been eyeing this set for awhile now, unable to decide whether or not I should pick this up or not. Last year I missed out on the My Favorite Things palette from them and I really regretted not picking it up! I eventually caved in and bought this palette! I've only tried two things from the set prior to purchasing this palette, the Better than Sex Mascara and Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. Everything else from this palette is brand new to me (I have never tried any of their eyeshadows, blushes, and highlighter)! So, stay tuned for this lengthy review of this makeup set!

Packaging: Too Faced completely nailed it with the packaging of this set. As a self professed lover of all things pink, I love the makeup bag that it came with the set. The pink glitter bag is absolutely gorgeous! While I'm not sure if the glitter will stay 100% intact on the bag, I do think that the actually makeup palette itself is a nice size, I don't think it is too heavy or light. Biggest downside of this makeup bag is that the palette itself won't fit instead the bag (which you would think the brand would do if it came along in a set...)! The design on the palette is, however, appealing and the names of all the individual eyeshadows, blushes, highlighter and bronzer is written below the product!

From Left to Right: Turtle Dove, Dream On, After Hours, Fawned of You, Knockout, Paper Roses, Kindess is Free, Mauvelous, Be You, and Secret Lovers

Too Faced Eyeshadows:
Turtle Dove is a sheer, true white matte eyeshadow. Dream On is a matte cream color that is perfect for the brow bone highlight. After Hours is a metallic warm gold. Fawned of You is a matte light brown (with a warm undertone) that is a nice transition color. Knockout is a matte dark brown (with a warm undertone) that is great for adding depth and for smoking out an eye makeup look.

Paper Roses is a sheer, baby pink matte eyeshadow. Kindness is Free is a shimmery pink eyeshadow. Mauvelous is a shimmery silver with a purple/mauve undertone. Be You is a matte taupe brown that is a really good cool toned transition color. Secret Lovers is a matte dark brown that is great for smoking out an eye makeup look.

From Left to Right: Heaven Shiny Happy, Honey Pot, Don't Settle, Girly, Totally Fetch, Live it Up, Too Glam, Head Over Heels, Chocolate Moon

Heaven is an off-white matte that is a great for a brow bone highlight. Shiny Happy is a silvery eyeshadow with a shimmer finish. Honey Pot is a warm gold with a light shimmery/metallic finish.
Don’t Settle is a shimmery gray-brown eyeshadow. Girly is a duochrome blue brown shimmer.

Totally Fetch is a metallic hot pink eyeshadow. Live it Up is a metallic purple eyeshadow. Too Glam is a shimmery sea green eyeshadow. Head Over Heels is a shimmery dark blue eyeshadow. Chocolate Moon is a black eyeshadow with shimmer.

Overall, I have been enjoying all of these eyeshadows. The majority of these eyeshadows are pigmented, smooth, and very buttery. However, some of these eyeshadows require extra work to place onto your lids (Mauvelous, Shiny Happy, and Head Over Heels). With these eyeshadows, I find it best to wear a eyeshadow base underneath, like the Jordana 12 Hour Made to Last Eyeshadow Pencil. My favorite eyeshadows from here is Mauvelous (even though I have to pack this on more, it is SO beautiful on the eyes!), Be You, Shiny Happy, Honey Pot, Don't Settle, Girly, and Too Glam.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: This mascara formulation claims to "achieve high-volume and thickens, lengthens, and curls lashes for a dramatic eye look". I personally am not particularly fond of this mascara. In my opinion, I think this mascara is best for those who are naturally blessed with really nice eyelashes. This mascara does add a little bit of volume for my lashes, but the effect isn't as strong as the Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara that I adore. If you have sparse and short lashes, I wouldn't recommend this mascara for you

From Left to Right: Sweet Pink, Papa Don't Peach, Chocolate Soleil, Inner Light

Too Faced Blush in Sweet Pink: This blush is a warm pink with a satin finish (and a light sprinkling of shimmer). The shimmer in this blush is not as prominent as the blush Papa Don't Peach, so I think a lot of people will find this blush to be more appealing as a result. I favor warm pinks more the cool pinks because I think it flatters my skin tone a lot more. I can see this blush working well for light to tan skintones.

Too Faced Blush in Papa Don't Peach: This blush is a warm peach with a healthy amount of shimmer. I find that when I use this blush, I can skip out on highlighter. I don't find that this blush is too overpowering on the shimmery effect. Out of the two blushes, I like this one more (mainly because I favor peaches more then pink) and this is also the blush that is more pigmented. Papa Don't Peach is best suited for those who have light to medium skintones.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer: This bronzer is ideal for light to medium skintones. It is blendable and pigmented. This bronzer does not get muddy or orange on me, which is a huge plus! I find that the lasting power of this is pretty good, lasting for a good six hours on lighter base and lasting 10 hours for a heavier, long lasting foundation. In my opinion, I think this bronzer is more suited for me in the summer when I am a bit tanner, but I can definitely work with it due to how easy it blends. One big con for me is the smell of this product (which a lot of the beauty community do enjoy). While I do like the smell of chocolate in food, the fragrance of chocolate immersed in the bronzer isn't appealing to me. I do anticipate using this bronzer frequently, but the scent will deter me from using the bronzer as much as I would want to (and as such, I will stick to Benefit Hoola Bronzer or Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light).

Too Faced Highlight in Inner Light: This is a white gold highlight with an overpowering amount of shimmer when swatched. The insane shimmer thankfully does not translate very well when placed on the tops of the cheekbone, but that is mainly a result of this highlighter having moderate pigmentation. Out of all the cheek products in the palette, this is my least favorite. It doesn't last too well on my skin, I didn't see it lasting longer than four hours with a long wearing foundation.

Makeup Brushes: This kit has three makeup brushes (a general face brush, eyeshadow brush, and a liner brush). The makeup brushes are cruelty-free and are one of the softest makeup brushes I own. The face brush isn't the best for contouring or applying blush and highlighter, will work in a pinch but not the best. The eyeshadow brush is not dense enough to pack on color, but it is okay for adding a light wash of color on the lids. It will take a bit of effort to use this eyeshadow brush to blend out color (basically, don't expect it to have the magical powers of the Mac 217 Blending Brush). The eyeliner brush doesn't pick up color as well as I would like, making it difficult to use it to apply eyeshadow as eyeliner. Overall, I don't think I will use these brushes much... but they could work if I need them too.

Final Verdict?: I think this palette is a great value for what you are getting size wise. If you only are interested in using the face products or even the eyeshadow products, I'd say go and buy this because you are getting SO much product for the value of this palette. If you are new to Too Faced and wanted to try the brand out, I think this is a good selection of products here for you to try out. There are some duds for me in this palette (the mascara, the highlight, the brushes ETC). That doesn't necessarily mean that this would be a bad thing for everyone. If you are a beginner, I think that not having exceptional pigmentation in the highlighter is a necessity if you are just starting out in makeup. I can see the mascara working well for those of you who are naturally blessed with nice lashes (plus, mascara is such a hit and miss with people anyways!) I do enjoy the eyeshadows here even though some of the eyeshadows are a hit and miss at times. The majority of these eyeshadows are really nice and pigmented, the others you would have to pack on a little bit more (and might require an eyeshadow base) but are still decently pigmented. As such, I would give this product a thumbs up! Click here to see a look using this palette!

  1. I've seen this around but I've never thought it was something I'd buy. Now that I've seen all the swatches, I love how there's great range of neutrals and lots of pink/berry shades! Also I didn't realize it had such lovely jewel tones! This is fantastic! I would totally buy it if it weren't for all the shadows I already have! I'm trying hard to not buy any palettes unless it's different from what I already have or very special! Thanks for the review!

  4. The jewel shades are amazing! They are part of the reason why I grabbed the palette to be honest. Primer definitely helps with these shadows, but an eyeshadow base would make them pop more!

  6. I totally know how you feel! I struggled for the longest time trying to figure out whether or not I wanted to grab this palette or not, but I am very happy with my decisions. Eyeshadow palettes are pricey, and if you have a collection... everything needs to be justified :B

  11. Such a cute palette, but the fact there are a few duds makes it not so appealing to me :// Great, in-depth review though!

  14. I completely understand how a few duds would make this unappealing... I picked it up after listening to other people talk about it and I was like... I need more eyeshadows in my life, so I can deal with a few bad apples here and there! Glad you like the review though :)
