Hey guys! So today I will be doing a review of the Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadows. I have here four colors I purchased back in July, and I've finally gotten around to settling what my final thoughts are on this palette! This review was requested by several readers of the blog!

The packaging of this palette is very secure. I am very pleased with how sturdy the packaging is! This is one of the few palettes I own that I feel extremely comfortable traveling with. This palette has a nice weight to it and along with a very strong magnet that keeps the lid attached, I don't feel like my eyeshadows are in danger of being destroyed by minor things.

I picked out four colors in this palette without checking any reviews online. After swatching for a good half an hour in the Inglot counter at Macy's, I decided on creating a somewhat "rose gold" eyeshadow palette. Out of the four colors I picked out, only one color is matte, the rest have a shimmer finish.

Swatches from Left to Right: Matte 353, AMC Shine 07, AMC Shine 09, AMC Shine 12

Matte 353: A cream, off white color. The pigmentation here is nice, the formulation is not chalky. Easy to blend on the skin, and has been a favorite of mine for highlighting my browbone.

AMC Shine 07: A pale gold color. This is the least pigmented color in the palette, but the pigmentation is still good. Beautiful formulation, is not too shimmery on the eyes and is not chalky. One of my favorite golds in my makeup collection.

AMC Shine 09: A rose gold color. This is more on the peachy side of rose gold. Once again, the formulation of this product isn't too shimmery and it isn't chalky.

AMC Shine 12: A rusty, cranberry color. This is a very wearable cranberry color, can be built up and to create a smokey look and can be used lightly to create some dimension in your eyes. One of my most worn eyeshadows in the fall.

I don't have much to complain about these eyeshadows to be honest. The pigmentation and staying power is really good (especially if you wear a eyeshadow primer!) These colors blend very easily and they swatch and apply true to color. Out of this palette, my most used eyeshadow is definitely Matte 353, I can't live without that eyeshadow because I use it for my highlight on a very consistent basis! The only con I have against this palette is that I can't see the number of the eyeshadow in this palette because the magnet is too strong! Besides that, all I can say is that I can't wait until I try more Inglot eyeshadows!

Have you guys tried Inglot eyeshadows? Any recommendations for me? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. i /really/ love inglot shadows. they are /so/ /so/ worth it! i spent about 1.5hours picking up 10 shades at the inglot store in NYC. it took me /forever/ but i'm so pleased with the formula. if they were more accessible i would probably have way more now. so it's a great thing they aren't lol.

the colors you chose are so spot on. this makes a great travel palette (though i find their packaging just a touch bulky/heavy)

    1. Inglot eyeshadows are so worth it! Inglot isn't accessible to me either (which is a good thing, cause I probably would buy the whole makeup line....since it is relatively cheaper then other high end lines, and they have amazing quality!). I can see how the packaging can be bulky for some people, but for me I do like the weight it gives :)

  2. I love the packaging on these so much, but I agree with you on the strong magnet thing. I wish Inglot's eyeshadows had actual names instead of numbers and letters! They would be so much easier to identify and talk about!

    1. Oh how could I have forgotten to mention that! It is so difficult to memorize the numbers for the eyeshadows I have...even though its four... I guess its the problem of having so many eyeshadows :B

  4. All the shades you picked are so pretty, but the light gold is especially beautiful.
